Dear Esteemed Members,

Warm greetings to you all.

We are pleased to share that we had a successful and fruitful courtesy call meeting with the Country Director of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) here in Lusaka.

The engagement was highly productive and cordial, with meaningful discussions centered on peacebuilding, refugee protection, social cohesion, and the role of faith-based organizations in supporting community transformation, especially in the context of the upcoming general elections.

During the meeting, we presented our upcoming Global Summit (18th–24th May 2026), and the UNHCR office expressed strong interest in the theme and its relevance to national and regional peace efforts. We also explored potential areas of collaboration, including participation in the summit and continued engagement beyond the event.

This meeting marks an important milestone for MAGE as we continue to build strategic partnerships with key international institutions and position our organization as a credible voice in peacebuilding and humanitarian efforts.

We thank God for this progress and appreciate your continued support and commitment to the vision of MAGE.

Further updates will be shared in due course.

Blessings,

Bishop Elias Elijah Changa
